The demand for fresh food from a known source is rippling through America. One of the results is a trend called Urban Farming. Interestingly, a growing number of the farmers are:
- Young women;
- Working one to two acres;
- Using techniques that maximize production on small coverage;
- Generating significant income.
This trend will continue because it is driven by consumer’s concerns about the quality of their food. The production of food is a driver of crop land values.
